CORRECTION TO FIELD TECHNICIAN SPECIAL POSTINGS

Please note the Special Posting for Field Technicians at 230 W. 36 Street, Manhattan, Special Posting 2011001024, will remain open through March 8, 2011. These positions are in Special Services, and the primary job function is Test & Tag.

The vacancy for Field Technician is an Article 8 Special Posting open for bidding from 2/9/11 through 2/15/11. The Field Technician positions in Brooklyn are only open to Field Technicians and TTA-Field Technicians located in the 5 boroughs of NYC (FAA 1) and Nassau & Suffolk Counties (FAA2).
These openings are Article 8 Force Adjustment Transfers to rebalance the Field Technician work force. They are NOT Specific Posted Vacancies (SPVs).

SPV 2011000084, for Central Office Technician in Dunkirk, NY, has been cancelled. It has been replaced by SPV 2011000201, for Central Office Technician in Ellicottville, NY. The new SPV will be open for bidding for the same period, 1/12/11 through 1/25/11.
