This program is designed to help you develop the essential skills to become a writer for the Web and for social media. By critiquing one of the Web’s most widely published topics, automobiles, you will learn to better structure your writing skills and the processes necessary to plan, write and publish articles for web e-zines or for your own personal blog. At the conclusion of the course, you will have written an evaluative piece comparing features of a variety of automobiles including economy, luxury and exotic cars. But before writing your article, you will start at the beginning by polishing up your writing abilities. Then, after attending a series of online writing modules, you will turn your attention to conducting research to gather facts and figures required to write your article. Working with our expert instructor, you will drive each vehicle – you will need a current driver’s license – and learn the process to analyze automobile design, features and performance then discover how to turn your findings into a piece to share with your readers. When completed, you will be that much further along the road to becoming an auto journalist.
