Brothers and Sisters, In an effort to help out storm victims in the area, Communications Workers of America Local 1109 is working in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus Flatbush Council located at 3915 Flatlands Avenue. We are collecting items and getting them out to victims in the area who desperately need it. Victims can use the following items and they can be dropped off between 1pm-6pm this week. We will then get them out to those who need it. We have received significant amount of canned goods and clothing and we are still accepting those donations, but the following items are needed:
- Batteries( especially C&D)
- Work gloves
- flashlights
- shovels
- Industrial Strength Garbage Bags
- Blankets
- Pet Food
- Bleach
- Pine Sol
- and other industrial cleaning products.
